Layla Elaine Frost

I went to my doctor's appointment on April 20th thinking everything is fine and I hope I'm dilated. Nothing was happening at all. So he took me into a different room so we could do an ultrasound. Well he put her up on the screen and told me that my fluid was low and asked me when I wanted to have her. I started freaking out because I really did not want a c-section and I wasn't sure if Layla was okay or not. Layla was fine, but she was also breached. I told the doctor that I wanted to have her tomorrow and then he left the room to see if the O.R. could squeeze me in. Well of course with my luck there was no way. He came back in and said, "Can you be at Labor and Delivery at 2pm?" I told him I would be there and he made the appointment. Of course Jamie didn't come with me to this appointment so I had to call him and tell him what was going on. By time I got home most of my family was here which I had no idea. So the bottom line is I had to get a c-section. I am doing really good except I want to hold Mercedez so bad, but I can't pick her up for another 4 weeks. Jamie has been a lot of help especially at night too. Mercedez wants to hug and Kiss Layla all the time, but she is has been sick. She is a very good sister though! She always wants to help with everything. They grow up so fast. Well I hope you all enjoy the pictures of cute Layla Elaine Frost. She was born at 5:09pm weighing 6lbs. 14 oz. and was 18 inches long.
